In ancient lore, a captivating tale unfolds: the legend of the Great Race of animals. While numerous versions of this narrative abound, my reinterpretation of this ancient Chinese fable portrays a compelling narrative where the animals are entrusted with a noble quest—to procure His Majesty's cherished flowers, thereby vying for victory in the race. These floral offerings, beyond merely gratifying the monarch's desires, also bestow upon the twelve animals a profound cultural significance, elevating their status in the annals of folklore.
